A high-end fine dining seafood restaurant in Dubai introducing guests to the sustainable culinary treasures of the Arabian Gulf.
Fish sustainability is a growing concern in the UAE as the average fish stock has been in 80% since 1978. With about 66% of residents consuming fish at least once a week, most of the popular on-demand fish are fished beyond sustainable levels (EWS-WWF,2017). Due to this issue, the fine dining restaurant Samak will educate guests about fish sustainability and introduce new culinary delicacies using lesser-known sustainable fish.
Samak aims to create a captivating culinary and educational experience for guests while taking them into a journey through the Arabian Gulf as the interior design is transformed into an aquatic landscape. The aim of this project is to educate, engage, and provide a great dining and lounge experience for its guests in Dubai.
