Let me introduce myself to you.
My name is Juwana Abu-Zeinah, interior designer specializing in interior architecture and design. Winner of the Ottawa Awards 2023.
I’m also the winner of the Interior Designers of Canada’s Design Research Award for my research entitled: “Reducing Patient Vulnerability to Illness: The Integration of Biophilic Elements into the Design of Acute Care Hospital Emergency Waiting Rooms”.
I’m experienced in commercial and residential interior design, having worked on multiple design disciplines and phases of design from research & schematic design; developing construction drawings; 3D renderings; signage/wayfinding packages to construction administration and project management.
I’ve worked on project sectors ranging from: Corporate; government; high-secure projects and workplace to sports + rec + entertainment; institutional; hospitality; residential; healthcare & manufacturing facility design across Canada.
